From ReservesDirect: Open Source EReserves System

These are the bug fixes and new features that users have requested. See also an (outdated) Excel file listing Unresolved issues from the Mantis bug-tracking system.

  1. Need a utility or function that allows re-use or updating of reservesViewer links in Blackboard
  2. Need an error message when user try to upload files that exceed the file limit
  3. System doesn't accept .rtf documents
  4. Reading "required / optional" button or field
  5. Sortable "read before" dates in reserve list
  6. Item history, user history, class history
  7. Sortable item list for every user -- sort by title, author, "read by" date, etc.
  8. Stable URL for reading / reserve lists
  9. ReservesDirect API -- list of programs to interface with
  10. Streamed audio metadata in RealPlayer
  11. Automatically assign barcodes to PDFs
  12. Import metadata from OCLC
  13. Need total number of pages in order to calculate percentages for copyright
  14. It would be great if the system could

  16. Terms that can be used for schools on the quarter system instead of the semester system
  17. Adding a student as a proxy does not activate the class
